How Much Does a Website Cost in Morocco in 2026? (Real Prices)

It's the first question almost every business owner in Morocco asks before contacting an agency: how much does a website actually cost?

The honest answer: it depends — but not vaguely. Price depends on a handful of concrete factors, and once you understand them you can estimate your budget in minutes, and avoid overpaying or ending up with a rushed job.

Real price ranges in Morocco in 2026

Type of siteAverage price in MoroccoWhat's usually included
Simple showcase site (3-5 pages)2,500 – 4,000 MADResponsive design, domain, 1 year hosting
Professional showcase site4,000 – 7,000 MADCustom design, basic SEO, contact form
Online store (e-commerce)5,000 – 12,000 MADProduct catalog, payment, order management
Premium custom build8,000 – 20,000+ MADAdvanced features, dashboard, integrations

At Youness Web, for example, the Essentiel plan starts at 2,500 MAD (domain name and hosting included for 1 year), and the Premium Sur-Mesure plan starts at 5,000 MAD for a site with a unique visual identity and advanced features.

Be wary of offers under 800 MAD — they almost always hide a generic, non-editable template, poor-quality hosting, or no professional domain at all (you end up with something like "mysite.wixsite.com/business", which seriously hurts your credibility).

Why the price varies so much from project to project

Number of pages and content complexity. A 3-page site (home, services, contact) obviously costs less than a 10-page site with sub-categories, an integrated blog, and multiple forms.

Showcase site or online store. An online store requires significantly more technical work: product management, cart, payment (online or cash on delivery), order notifications, stock management. See our guide on choosing between a showcase site and e-commerce.

Template or fully custom design. A pre-built theme, even customized, costs less than a design built entirely around your brand, with its own animations and identity. Both are legitimate — it depends on your budget and ambition.

Requested features. A simple contact form has nothing to do, development-wise, with an online booking system, delivery-company integration, a customer account area, or card payment connected to a Moroccan payment gateway. Each of these adds development time, and therefore cost.

Domain name and hosting. A real domain name (yourbusiness.ma or .com) costs between 100 and 250 MAD per year. Quality hosting, with fast load times, generally costs between 500 and 1,500 MAD per year. Many low-cost providers don't include either beyond the first year — always check this before signing.

What a good quote should clearly state

Before accepting a quote, make sure it specifies:

  1. The exact number of pages included in the price.
  2. How long the domain name and hosting are included (1 year? Forever?).
  3. The real delivery timeline.
  4. What happens after delivery: included support, training on managing the site, cost of a future change.
  5. Ownership of the site: does it belong to you entirely, or do you stay dependent on the provider for every small change?

Hidden costs to plan for

  • Annual renewal of the domain and hosting (typically 600–1,000 MAD/year combined).
  • Maintenance and updates if your site runs on WordPress or another CMS (security, plugins).
  • Additional content: new pages, professional photos, translation into multiple languages.
  • Ongoing SEO: a well-built site is indexable from day one, but ranking on the first page for competitive keywords takes sustained content work — see our complete Morocco SEO guide.

How to get the best value

  • Always ask to see real, completed work, not just mockups.
  • Compare at least 2-3 quotes before deciding.
  • Prefer a provider based in Morocco or fluent in your language, to avoid misunderstandings about your specific needs (cash on delivery, WhatsApp Business, etc.).
  • Favor a provider who explains why a price is what it is, rather than a number pulled out of thin air.

In summary

The goal isn't to find the lowest price — it's to understand exactly what you're paying for, and to make sure the site truly belongs to you, loads fast, is secure, and is ready to be found on Google.
